Emergency Bypass Mode

Temporarily bypass a display module shutdown alarm

If the display module fails and triggers a shutdown alarm, Emergency Bypass mode lets the unit resume normal operation for up to 24 hours. A countdown timer will be shown on the display. Use this time to contact the nearest Carrier Transicold Service Center for repair.

Enter Emergency Bypass Mode

Step 1: Navigate to Bypass

With the unit in shutdown due to a display module alarm, press the MENU key until BYPASS MODE is displayed.

Step 2: Activate Bypass
