How to enter and exit Advanced User mode

As shipped from the factory, the system operates in Driver mode. In Driver mode, some data and menu items are not available. The system may be configured to operate in Advanced User mode permanently, making additional data and menus available at all times. If not permanently configured, you can enter Advanced User mode manually.

Step 1: Press Outside Soft Keys

With the system powered up (START/RUN-OFF switch in the START/RUN position) or in PC mode, press and then release the two outside soft keys simultaneously. The system will not respond yet.

Step 2: Press Equals Key

Press the "=" key within 5 seconds. The operator message panel will display "ADVANCE USER MODE ENABLED" for 5 seconds.

60-Minute Time Limit

Advanced User menus will be available for 60 minutes or until the START/RUN-OFF switch is placed in the OFF position.

Toggling Between Modes

Step 1: Press Outside Soft Keys

Press and then release the two outside soft keys simultaneously.

Step 2: Press Equals to Toggle

Press the "=" key. The display will show "ADVANCE USER MODE ENABLED" or "DRIVERS MODE ENABLED" for 5 seconds, confirming which mode is now active.
