Automatic Run Modes
Turn automatic run mode functions on or off
Once automatic functions are set, the system could start at any time. Before servicing the unit, be sure to disable it to prevent injury should the unit attempt to start while servicing. All presets will remain once the battery cable is reconnected.
Automatic run mode functions can be turned on and off from the Run Mode menu. Refer to Section 5.3 (CabinTech) for configuration of the automatic run mode functions. The automatic run modes that can be configured are: • Maximum Run Time — Limits the maximum amount of time the APU can run at one time • Battery Monitor — Starts the APU when truck battery voltage drops below a set voltage • Timer 1 — The power unit and CCU are turned on automatically at the specified time and duration • Timer 2 — Second independent timer with the same functions as Timer 1 • Temp Start — Automatically turns the APU on when APU coolant temperature falls below a programmed value
