Service Menu

Access diagnostics, alarms, data, and DPF regen features

The Service menu contains information, reminders, and self-tests that help ensure reliable operation and maintenance of the Aspen APU. Features include: • Unit Information — Serial number and software information • Maintenance — Displays hours until next PM is required • Alarms — View active alarms • Data — Temperature and voltage information • DPF Regen — Initiate manual DPF regeneration (Aspen SKY only) • Pretrip — System self-diagnostic test

Accessing the Service Menu

Step 1: Open the Menu

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Step 2: Select Service

Rotate the dial until Service is highlighted. Press the dial to select Service.

Unit Information

The Unit Information sub-menu displays the APU serial number and current software version.

Step 1: Open the Menu

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Step 2: Select Service

Rotate the dial and select Service. Press the dial.

Step 3: Select Unit Information

Rotate the dial to select Unit Information. Press the dial. The serial number and software version will be displayed.

Step 4: Return Home

Press Menu to return to the home screen.

Viewing Alarms

Step 1: Open the Menu

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Step 2: Select Service

Rotate the dial and select Service. Press the dial.

Step 3: Select Alarms

Rotate the dial to select Alarms. Press the dial.

Step 4: Review Active Alarms

The active alarms will be displayed, up to a maximum of six. Rotate the dial to the right to scroll through the alarm list.

Scrolling the Alarm List

If additional alarms are present, continue rotating the dial to the right. Once the end of the list is reached, rotate the dial to the left to scroll back to the top.

Clearing Alarms

Step 1: Select the Alarm

From the Alarm menu, rotate the dial to select the alarm code to clear.

Step 2: Select Reset

Rotate the dial to "RESET" at the end of the alarm list.

Step 3: Clear the Alarms

Press the dial to clear the alarms.

Viewing Data

Step 1: Open the Menu

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Step 2: Select Service

Rotate the dial and select Service. Press the dial.

Step 3: Select Data

Rotate the dial to select Data. Press the dial. Temperature and voltage information will be displayed.

DPF Regeneration

For units equipped with the ClearSky emission control system, the DPF Regen menu allows you to monitor the status of a current regeneration or initiate a manual regeneration.

Step 1: Open the Menu

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Step 2: Select Service

Rotate the dial and select Service. Press the dial.

Step 3: Select DPF Regen

Rotate the dial to select DPF REGEN. Press the dial.

Step 4: Start Manual Regen

Rotate the dial to select Y to start manual regeneration. The DPF REGEN icon will be displayed while the regeneration is in progress.

Functions Disabled During Regen

HVAC and outlet functions are disabled during DPF regeneration. Do not attempt to use heating, air conditioning, or outlet features until the regeneration is complete.
