How to start and stop the Aspen APU system
The Aspen Interface (AI) controls the operation of the system. When the APU is not running in engine or shore power mode, the AI screen will be blank. The APU must be started to begin operation.
• 1 – Fan speed indicator • 2 – Set temperature • 3 – Cab temperature • 4 – Outside temperature • 5 – Time
Starting the APU
Press the ON/OFF button.
The Carrier Transicold logo will be displayed and then switch to the Home screen.
The system will begin the start sequence by turning on the buzzer and then starting the engine.
The system will start in the same Run mode as was last used.
The APU can also be turned off by changing the Run mode to OFF within the Run Mode Select menu.
Stopping the APU
Press the ON/OFF button.
The APU engine and HVAC system will shut down. "Shutting Down" will be displayed while the system powers down.
The screen will be blank when the system is OFF.
