Changing the Setpoint
Change the target temperature setpoint on the X4-7700
Use the display-mounted arrow keys to adjust the temperature setpoint. The APX Control System always retains the last entered setpoint in memory.

Ensure the system is powered up (START/RUN-OFF switch in the START/RUN position) or in PC mode with the default screen displayed. Press the Back soft key if needed to return to the default screen.
Press the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) arrow key to change the displayed setpoint to the desired value. The setpoint changes 1° per press (or 0.1° if configured). Press and hold for faster scrolling — the longer the key is held, the faster the setting changes.
Press the EQUALS (=) key to save the new setpoint. The MessageCenter will display "SETPOINT CHANGED" for five seconds.
If you do NOT press the EQUALS (=) key, after five seconds of no key activity the entire display and Light Bar will flash, the buzzer will sound for 15 seconds, and "SETPOINT NOT CHANGED" will appear in the MessageCenter. The system will then revert to the last entered setpoint. Pressing any other key while the display is flashing will stop the flashing and perform that key's function.
The default setpoint range is -22°F to +90°F (-30°C to +32°C). The APX Control System may be configured with different minimum and/or maximum values. "MAX SETPOINT HAS BEEN REACHED" or "MIN SETPOINT HAS BEEN REACHED" will display in the MessageCenter when a limit is reached.
The setpoint cannot be changed while viewing the Alarm List, Data List, or Functional Parameters, while the unit is in Pre-Trip, or while the unit is in Sleep mode.
