DM1 Exhaust Temp Sensor Fail
refrigeration
Description
The DPF controller detected a problem with the exhaust temperature sensor, and the unit alarms only and continues without temperature input during regeneration.
Activation Conditions
DPF controller has detected a problem with the exhaust temperature sensor.
Unit Behavior
Alarm only The system will continue to operate without temperature input during a regeneration event. Backpressure sensor will take priority over temp sensor.
Reset Conditions
System detects valid sensor resistance value OR Alarm Reset OR Cycle Power
Corrective Actions
1. Visually inspect electrical temp sensor electrical connection. Check both sides of electrical connection for any recessed pins or sockets. Electrical connection must be clean and tight. 2. Visually inspect temp sensor harness for any damage. 3. Check resistance reading on temp sensor at electrical connector terminals 1 and 2. Refer to Table 7-2. NOTE Allow sensor to cool before checking resistance. 4. Cycle power to DPF controller.
