Description
If alarm 21100 is not active and the Microprocessor Stepper Module input and/or output board configuration is incorrect, the unit shuts down and alarms.
Activation Conditions
If alarm 21100 “NO COMM FROM MICRO TO DISPLAY” is not active and Microprocessor Stepper Module input and/or output board configuration is incorrect.
Unit Behavior
Shutdown and alarm.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset when board communications are valid, or alarm reset or alarm may be manually reset by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
1. Check Software Revision: Check microprocessor software. Unit should have the software upgraded to the latest version, provided for Carrier Transicold dealers on the Carrier SolutionCenter. 2. Reset Microprocessor a. Place the START/RUN-OFF switch in the OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable, remove F1 fuse, wait 20 seconds and reinstall. Then place the START/RUN-OFF back in the START/RUN position. The microprocessor powers up OK and the latest setpoint appears in the display. b. If this alarm remains active, download data and replace the Micro Stepper Module (MSM). Refer to Section 5.5.
