Description

AFAR circuit current draw is outside the normal range, and pretrip will fail and show “PRETRIP FAIL AND COMPLETED”.

Activation Conditions

The (AFAR) circuit current draw is outside the normal range.

Unit Behavior

Engine and Electric Operation: Pretrip will fail and display “PRETRIP FAIL AND COMPLETED”.

Reset Conditions

Auto reset if Pretrip is started again, or alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off, then back on again.

Corrective Actions

Check relay operation - Refer to procedure for alarm 00090 CHK AFA Solenoid Circuit. Alarm condition must be corrected and the alarm cleared to continue.
