Check Low Speed RPM

Description
Test #4 or Test #6 found engine speed outside 1300 to 1400 rpm in low speed; pretrip fails and shows “PRETRIP FAIL AND COMPLETED” in engine operation.
Activation Conditions
Test #4: With the CAN calling for low speed, engine speed is NOT between: 1300 and 1400 rpm. Test #6: 15 seconds after the High Speed Pretrip Test #5, engine speed has NOT dropped back to the low speed range (within 15 seconds). This test will be skipped if alarm 00130 Check Engine RPM Sensor is active.
Unit Behavior
Engine Operation: Pretrip will fail and display “PRETRIP FAIL AND COMPLETED”. Electric Operation: This test is not made.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset if Pretrip is started again or alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off then back on again.
Corrective Actions
Check low speed operation - Refer to procedure for alarm 00037 Check Low Speed RPM. Alarm condition must be corrected and the alarm cleared to continue.
