Compressor Discharge Pressure Sensor
refrigeration
Description
The Compressor Discharge Pressure sensor is out of range; the unit gives an alarm only.
Activation Conditions
Compressor Discharge Pressure (CDP) sensor is out of range.
Unit Behavior
Engine and Electric: Alarm only.
Reset Conditions
Economizer Pressure sensor is in range or alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
1. Check System Pressures โ Install a manifold gauge set and compare the gauge reading to the controller reading. The CDP on the controller should read close to the pressure on the manifold gauge. If not it indicates the CDP has failed. 2. Place the Unit in Service mode. After the unit has equalized, compare the pressure readings for the ECOP, the CSP and the CDP. The ECOP the CSP and the CDP should all read within 5 PSI, if not it indicates the ECOP has failed. 3. Check Compressor Discharge Pressure Sensor - Inspect sensor and connectors. Verify there is no damage to sensor, and no damage, moisture, or corrosion in connectors.
