AC Check
electrical
Description
AC voltage at TB1 is less than 50VAC in Diesel or Shore Power; the unit gives an alarm only.
Activation Conditions
The unit is operating in Diesel or Shore Power and AC voltage at TB1 is less than 50VAC
Unit Behavior
Alarm Only
Reset Conditions
Auto Reset when AC power is restored (TB1 voltage is greater than 50VAC Manual reset from alarm menu in Aspen Interface or System Status in Cabin Tech, or by turning the unit off, then back on.
Corrective Actions
Diesel 1. Alarm history and engine/generator condition a. Check for engine related alarms. This alarm can be generated by low engine speed or a condition that caused the engine to shut down. b. Verify the engine and generator are operating properly. Check for restricted air intake, fuel filters and drive belt condition. 2. Check generator circuit breaker. a. Check for AC voltage on generator side of the circuit breaker. If OK (greater than 100 VAC), go to step 3. b. Check for AC voltage on generator side of breaker. If OK, determine the cause of the overload or replace circuit breaker. If not OK, go to low/no voltage diagnostics (see Section 8.11.1). 3. Check AC power input to CCM. a. Inspect connections at TB1. Board and cable connections must be tight. b. Check AC voltage between TB1-2 and TB1-3. If no voltage is present, inspect the Teck cable for damage. If voltage is present, go to step 4. 4. Compare the voltage to unit information or CabinTech. a. Verify that voltage matches what is displayed on unit information or CabinTech. If voltage is less than 50 VAC and matches displayed voltage, recheck generator voltage, connections and Teck cable. b. If voltage is greater than 50 VAC and does not match displayed voltage, replace the CCM. Shore Power 5. Check shore power circuit breaker. a. Verify that shore power breaker is not tripped. If OK, go to step 2. b. Reset circuit breaker. If breaker trips again, determine cause of overload. If breaker does not trip, check circuit overload. 6. Check shore power cord. a. Inspect cable for damage. b. Check voltage at cable end. 7. Inspect shore power receptacle. 8. Check SPM 15A fuse. 9. Check SPM connections. 10. Check CCM connections.
