Description
EEPROM Configuration is out of range, and the unit shuts down and alarms in engine and electric operation.
Activation Conditions
EEPROM Configuration is out of range.
Unit Behavior
Engine and Electric Operation: Shutdown and alarm.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset only when valid info is entered.
Corrective Actions
1. Check Microprocessor a. Check setpoint setting. Must be between -22 and +90°F (-30 and +32°C). b. Check Functional Parameters. All settings must be valid. 2. Check Software Revision a. Check microprocessor software revision. Upgrade to the latest revision of software. The latest revision may contain Configurations that were not present in older revisions. b. Check Functional Parameters All settings must be valid. Send desired settings to microprocessor using the latest version of TRU-Tech a USB data transfer device. (Do NOT use the display mounted keys.) c. Check Configurations All settings must be valid. Send desired settings to microprocessor using the latest version of TRU-Tech a USB data transfer device. (Do NOT use the display mounted keys.) 3. Reset Microprocessor a. Place the START/RUN-OFF switch in the OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable or unplug PM connector. Wait 20 seconds and reinstall. Then place the START/RUN-OFF back in the START/ RUN position. The microprocessor powers up OK and the latest setpoint appears in the display. b. Alarm 00248 remains active. Download data and replace the Main Stepper Module (MSM). Refer to Section 5.5.
