Description

Exhaust temperature was detected higher than 650°C, and the unit alarms only.

Activation Conditions

Exhaust temp has been detected to be higher than 650°C

Unit Behavior

Alarm only

Reset Conditions

DPF controller reads temperature below 650°C OR Alarm Reset OR Cycle Power

Corrective Actions

1. Perform a manual regeneration and observe temp values to be below 650°C. 2. Visually inspect temp sensor electrical connector pins. 3. Check resistance across pins 1 and 2 on temp sensor and validate. 4. resistance values are within spec. 5. Power cycle DPF controller. 6. Check for normal engine operation. Verify there is no fuel or oil in exhaust. 7. Check DPF maintenance history. Clean DPF if required.
