Starter Output Fault

The starter drew excessive current when it should be off for more than 10 seconds, and the unit shuts down and alarms.

The starter is drawing excessive current when it should be off for > 10 seconds.

Shutdown and Alarm.

Automatic reset for first occurrence after 15 minutes. Alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off, then back on again. On second occurrence within one hour, alarm 00021 “Technician Reset” will be activate. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: 1. Check starter solenoid for shorted contacts 2. Check wiring to starter solenoid 3. Check starter relay/FET for improper operation
