DPF Loss of Communications

Description

No DPF CAN messages were received for 10 seconds in a non-OFF APU Run mode, and the unit gives an alarm only.

Activation Conditions

No DPF CAN messages from the DPF module message received for 10 seconds when the APU Run mode is set to any mode other than OFF System Response Alarm only Reset DPF CAN messages received from DPF module or alarm reset or power cycle

Corrective Actions

1. Inspect DPF module J5 connector. 2. Check for 12 VDC between J5-1 and J5-12. 3. Check CAN voltage J5-2 to J5-12 and J5-3 to J5-12. 4. Check continuity between DPF J5-2 and APU J1-2 and DPF J5-3 and APU J1-7. 5. Replace DPF module.
