MSM1 IN CAN Fail
system
Description
No communication from the MCA in for 10 seconds while alarm 21100 is not active; the unit shuts all modules except the display and alarm, and the status LED stays steady green.
Activation Conditions
Alarm 21100 NO COMM FROM ANY BOARD TO MAIN MICRO is not active and there has no communication from the MCA in for 10 seconds.
Unit Behavior
Engine and Electric Operation: Shutdown all modules except the display and alarm. (The alarm will only display if the display module is communicating.) Main microprocessor status LED will illuminate steady green (not pulsing).
Reset Conditions
Auto reset when internal communication is restored, alarm reset, or alarm may be manually reset by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
Checking Wiring - Check logic power and CAN wires to MSM Replace Microprocessor/Stepper Module - Download data and replace MSM.
