No Comm From Micro to CCB2

Description

No sync responses have been received from the CCB2 Module for 10 seconds when alarm 21100 is not active and the unit is not starting in diesel; the unit requires shutdown and, if active two minutes, shuts all modules except the display.

Activation Conditions

If Alarm 21100 is not active, and Unit is not starting in diesel. No sync responses have been received from the CCB2 Module for 10 seconds.

Unit Behavior

Engine and Electric Operation: Required Shutdown. If alarm remains active for two minutes issue a shutdown command to all modules except the display.

Reset Conditions

Sync response received from the CCB2 Module in the past 10 seconds, alarm reset or alarm may be manually reset by turning the unit off, then back on again.

Corrective Actions

1. Check CCB2 status indicator 2. Check Fuse F9 a. Visually check fuse. Verify correct fuse, check fuse holder for damage, see Figure 2.8. Replace fuse as required. Clear alarms, restart and check for repeat alarm(s). b. Check voltage. Check voltage through fuse, if fuse is blown, replace it. c. Check wiring. Verify there is no physical damage to harness, and no damage, moisture, or corrosion in connectors. 3. Check wires from CCB1 - Check wiring from pins 6 and 29. Verify there is no physical damage to harness, and no damage, moisture, or corrosion in connectors.
