Evaporator Pressure Sensor Out-of-Range
refrigeration
Description
The Evaporator Pressure sensor is out of range; the unit gives an alarm only.
Activation Conditions
Evaporator Pressure (EVOP) sensor is out of range.
Unit Behavior
Engine and Electric: Alarm only.
Reset Conditions
Economizer Pressure sensor is in range or alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
1. Check System Pressures โ Place the unit in component test mode and select the SMV. With the SMV open the EVOP should read close to the CSP. If not it indicates the EVOP has failed. Place the Unit in Service Mode. After the unit has equalized, compare the pressure readings for the ECOP, the CSP and the CDP. The ECOP the CSP and the CDP should all read within 5 PSI, if not it indicates the EVOP has failed. 2. Check Evaporator Pressure Sensor - Inspect sensor and connectors. Verify there is no damage to sensor, and no damage, moisture, or corrosion in connectors.
