MSM1-IN - CAN Fail

Description

MSM1-IN - CAN Fail means the Micro Stepper Module cannot communicate internally; shutdown all modules except the display and alarm.

Activation Conditions

Micro Stepper Module cannot communicate internally.

Unit Behavior

Shutdown all modules except the display and alarm. (The alarm will only display if the display module is communicating.) Micro Stepper Module status LED will illuminate steady green (not pulsing).

Reset Conditions

Auto reset when internal communication is restored, alarm reset or alarm may be manually reset by turning the unit off, then back on again.

Corrective Actions

Replace Microprocessor Stepper Module: Download data and replace Microprocessor Stepper Module. For complete Microprocessor Stepper Module replacement instructions refer to Section 5.5.2.
