Description

The evaporator fan fuse VAC reading does not match the ordered state, and the unit gives an alarm only.

Activation Conditions

VAC reading from evaporator fan fuse does not match ordered state. A05100 or A5103 not active or pending.

Unit Behavior

Alarm Only

Reset Conditions

VAC reading from evaporator fan matches ordered state

Corrective Actions

1. Check evaporator fan fuse a. If fuse is OK go to step b. If fuse is blown go to step 2 2. Check evaporator fan, capacitor, and harness a. Verify that evaporator fan spins freely and does not contact the cover b. Inspect fan motor harness c. Test evaporator fan capacitor d. Check evaporator fan motor resistance 3. Replace evaporator fan fuse a. If fuse does not blow, run unit in all fan speeds and verify that the fault does not reoccur. b. If fuse blows recheck harness for short to ground and motor resistance. 4. Replace the CCM board - Refer to section 8.34 for CCM board replacement instructions.
