OR In Engine operation and alarm 00130 Check Engine RPM Sensor is not active and engine speed is less than 1000 RPM or greater than 1950 rpm for five minutes.
Unit Behavior
Alarm only or (if configured for shutdown) shutdown and alarm.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset if engine speed is within the specified range for five minutes or alarm may be manually reset using the display mounted keys or by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
1. Run Pre-Trip: Pre-Trip will test low speed and high speed operation. 2. Force Low Speed Operation: Enter Start/Stop mode operation. The unit will operate in low speed for 10 minutes. System should run in low speed. Ensure System is calling for low speed when performing step 3. 3. Check Low Speed Engine RPM a. Check actual engine speed using hand held tachometer. Refer to Table 2–1. Speed must be within range provided above. b. Compare actual speed with that shown in Unit Data. Readings must be within ± 50 rpm. 4. Check High Speed Engine RPM a. Inspect Air Intake system. b. Hoses and tubes in good condition. No kinks or restrictions. 5. Check Engine Control Unit (ENCU): a. Check voltage from fuse F5 through PM13 and to ENCU-22. b. Verify correct fuse. Must have minimum 11VDC with the battery connected and SROS in the OFF position c. Check voltage from PM32 to ENCU-44. Must have minimum 11VDC with SROS in the STAT/RUN position. If no, energize the run relay output using component test.
