Function Parameters Error

Description
One or more stored functional parameters are wrong, and the unit automatically sets incorrect ones to default values.
Activation Conditions
There is an error in one or more of the Functional Parameters that are stored in the main microprocessor memory.
Unit Behavior
Engine and Electric Operation: Incorrect Functional Parameter(s) will be automatically set for default value.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset when valid Functional Parameters are entered, or alarm may be manually reset by turning the unit off, then back on again.
Corrective Actions
1. Check Functional Parameters - Check Functional Parameters. All must be set for selectable values. 2. Check Software Version - Check microprocessor Software version. Upgrade to the latest version of software. Newer versions may contain functional parameters that were not present in older versions of microprocessor software. Refer to Section 5.3.4. 3. Reset Microprocessor a. Place the START/RUN-OFF switch in the OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable or unplug the PM connector. Wait 20 seconds and reinstall. Then place the START/RUN-OFF back in the START/RUN position. The microprocessor powers up OK and the latest setpoint appears in the display. b. Check for valid Functional Parameters in Functional Parameters List. Valid number is set for all parameters. Alarm is cleared. c. Valid Functional Parameter(s) can not be entered and alarm remains active. Download data and replace the Main Stepper Module (MSM). Refer to Section 5.5.
